OnePlus One has started receiving the Cyanogen OS 12.1 YOG4PAS2QL update in select regions. The update is said to be a minor one dealing with several bug fixes and security updates.

As mentioned in the OnePlus Forums, the update can be installed manually as well, with requisite files made available. The OTA zip file weighs 18MB. For those who want to install the full ROM, a 600MB+ full update and fastboot zip files are also available.

For now, not much information is known about the minor update beyond the fact it contains bug fixes and security updates. It is expected Cyanogen OS 12.1 YOG4PAS2QL also deals with newer Stagefright vulnerability fixes for the OnePlus One.

The OnePlus One received Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in August this year. The update brought integration of Truecaller and Truedialer features, a tie-up announced back in May.

Last month the CyanogenMod community released CyanogenMod 12.1 stable builds based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, alongside security releases for CM11.0 and CM12.0 including fixes for the Stagefright vulnerability and other recent security disclosures. The firm said that not all the CM-based devices would be receiving these releases. Only those devices marked as 'Good to go' by the maintainer would get the updates.

The OnePlus 2 received the Oxygen OS 2.0.1 OTA update in August. The update brought several bug fixes and improvements, as well as another fix for the widely talked-about Stagefright vulnerability. It also improves battery life of the OnePlus 2, and the user interface logic and coherence
