Most Annoying Video Game Sidekicks

Sidekicks in video games are awesome — they show you around the game and help you in fights. But some sidekicks are annoying.
Here are 7 of them

Sheva Alomar - Resident Evil 5

Although she had a fantastic entry in the game, and is fun to play with in co-op, she is a total liability in the game at times, dying constantly and consuming precious resources.

He's not chill, is an unpleasant person (we are sugarcoating), has a gambling problem and he constantly wants to go out bowling with you.

Roman Bellic - GTA IV

Navi - The Legend of Zelda

Apart from having an annoying high pitched voice, Navi also has technical limitations — of repeating the same lines over and over again. If you haven't had enough of “HEY!”, then you are seriously zen.

Paimon - Genshin Impact

She's essentially Navi, but with evil intentions. She is basically a cute little fairy who speaks on your behalf in the game because your character doesn't have a voice.

Lydia - Skyrim

Lydia masters the craft of blocking doors in Skyrim and saying weird things at weird times. Imagine completely clearing out a cave and then Lydia coming in and saying “I wonder what's inside?”

Baby Mario - Yoshi's Island

In an otherwise awesome game, Baby Mario is the infant version of Mario who cries every time something goes wrong in a repetitive 8-bit sound. Ugh!

Kazuhira Miller - MGS V: Phantom Pain

This guy is supposed to be your best friend in the game, but he is just so condescending and cruel. He even hits a kid with his crutch. Who does that!?
