7. Rainbow Six 

Graphically, this is the least appealing in the series, which is obvious given its release in 1998. But in terms of gameplay, you can still have a bit of fun.

It shares some similarities with the first game but it was a big leap graphically speaking. The shooting mechanics are also vastly improved, and your teammate's attention could now be directed towards specific areas.

5. Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow was intended to improve the Xbox foothold of the franchise. The focus on Xbox Live features worked beautifully because the game was a blast in multiplayer

4. Rainbow Six: Vegas

This game brought the newer generation of gamers to the series. The atmosphere, customization, and multiplayer element make this one of the most comprehensive entries in the series.

3. Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear

This sequel to the first game took a lot of what was good in it and improved upon it. One of the most notable changes was the ability to bring along snipers, as friendly AI could actually help you in a firefight.

2. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2

Although it wasn't vastly different from the first Vegas, the game was incredibly enjoyable nevertheless. It also brought a better unlock system, and has an expanded set of multiplayer modes.

After a rough start, Siege has turned into one of the most popular multiplayer experiences today. With tons of operators to choose from and content being added regularly, it is indeed the best Rainbow Six game yet.
