macOS 27 Golden Gate dropping Intel support completely marks the end of an era

Apple has officially announced macOS 27 Golden Gate this week and it completely cuts off all remaining Intel-based Macs. It makes sense and aligns with a vision of Apple pushing local AI architecture. At the same time, it is crazy to see that the transition to Apple Silicon is officially absolute.

Dropping Intel support is definitely the right move. Apple is making it clear that local AI architecture is the only way to move forward.
