• Value for Money as a Secondary Machine

  Purpose: I purchased this one from Asus for Office use. Main advantages i saw at the time of ordering were the size, weight(lessness) and price. Now here is the review: Pros: 1. Build - Good build quality. Feels strong while holding it. Front lid is glossy. Even after 3-4 hours of use, didn't heat up much. 2. Size - It's a 11 inch screen which is just enough for my work which involves a lot excel sheet. So am satisfied, The lower size makes it super portable and the less than one kg of weight just adds to the whole portability thing, 3. Software - Comes with Windows 8.1 and mine also came with one year Office 365 subscription. Didn't take much long to activate Office. Didn't feel much lag with Word, Excel and Chrome all opened at the same time. I had also installed couple of secuirty suits too. Still performance was good. No lag what so ever. 4. Battery - Solid. 10 Hours shouldn't be a problem (brightness not at 100% and without using an external mouse) Cons: 1. Memory - Although they say that its 32 GB, memory available to user is 20GB. After installing Office, two security softwares, Chrome and creating one more user, the free space available came down to approx 12 GB. There is a microSD Card to expand storage. Please note that when you consider the price, this is not something you should complain about. Conclusion: SATISFIED!

• A Really Great Buy

  It has been a week I am using this nice and compact machine and it is really pleasant to use. It is really lightweight and the battery life is more than 10 hours. It is good looking as well and Windows 8.1 is also easy to use and performs well. This is a perfect device to use as it offers mobility and can be carried easily anywhere. Asus should be commended for this device and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a value for money and portable device offering good performance.

  This is the best budget laptop that feels premium. I bought the White version and its a beauty! I needed a laptop with good battery life, fast processing for MS Office package, space for few of my software and a good Video/Audio streaming speed. This machine has ticked ALL the boxes that I needed. I bought a 32 GB memory card along with it, so my work doesn't suffer due to storage issues. A machine that actually works for 'Intermediate' user looking to work with less demanding software. It actually feels so light and classy that you tend to treat it as a premium machine. 5 star performance. And of course, Flipkart delivered it within 24 hours, they were at their usual brilliant self.

• The best in this price range.

  I bought the white one and have been using it for 3 weeks. Pros: The built quality is far superior to my 30k Sony Vaio. Small and sleek Battery life is outstanding Screen is well lit and the sound is very good. Boot time is very fast and internet surfing is smooth, ms office has also worked smoothly so far. Cons: Lack of storage, Only two ports and very close by. Lack of 3.0 usb port. Overall I am totally satisfied with the Eeebook. :)
