ChatGPT is introducing a new subscription Pro tier costing $100/month. This new tier offers 5X more codex usage compared to Plus. It includes the exclusive Pro model, with unlimited access to Instant and Thinking models.

It seems like AI is shifting from mere utility to a more professional tool so that firms can spend on developers to move them fast. The message is clear, Codex work has now a dedicated lane. Now we can say that AI companies are moving beyond simple chatbots.
