Sennheiser just introduced CX 80U and Sennheiser HD400U headphones in the budget segment. Are they worth the hype?

As far as I know, they are decent headphones, but it feels like everyone has been bombarded by all the hype that surrounds these models. They have decent, clean sounding audio for everyday use, and on the other hand, they cannot instantly change the music you are listening to as if you are in a concert hall. If that is what you are looking for, then you will be disappointed. I would say that while it is a good product at a fair price, it does an adequate job at its intended purpose.
