Should I go with a curved display or stick to a flat screen?

I am unable to decide which type of display to go with. On one hand, curved screens look premium, but flat screens provide better protection. Moreover, there are mixed opinions available on the online platforms about their comfort and durability features. Additionally, I want to understand which would be much more cost-effective. Any honest comparisons here on which one to choose to get a worthy one?
