• Good Machine but making sound always

  I had ordered this laptop from flipkart. I got a machine with some issues : 1) hardisk making sound - grinding sound almost all the time - not audible when you are like 5 ft away but audible when you are working closer to laptop 2) DVD Drive misaligned - some part of it was poking out. I got the replacement from the seller : Below are my findings with replacement received. 1) Harddisk sound is similar. Yes. in this piece also, I hear same sound. I will be taking it to Service center to check the barcode and see if this harddsik was the one installed with corresponding serial no. 2) I saw seal sticker on covering plastic of laptop-half cut. 3) I can see that black polish on some of the screws has come off a little- indication that may be laptop was opened up before. For points 2) and 3), it is my observation. Not sure what the fact is. But machine is sturdy and comes with windows 7 pro installed. will test the performance later after i finalize what to do with this laptop - i.e keep it or go for replacement again. Seller : ERetailIndia, in invoice it is (Computek from Hyderabad)
