Apple is changing the format of its retail stores, making the stores more about experiencing its products rather than selling its products. The new format is called the 'Town Square', and the first store with the new format opened a fortnight ago in San Francisco. There are 480 Apple Stores across the world, and 60 percent of them are in the US. It's no secret Apple wants to open its retail stores in India, and has applied for a licence. If it gets an approval, Apple is likely to use its new store format in India. Our very own Gadget Guru, Rajiv Makhni visited the first Town Square store in San Francisco to give us a sneak peek.
