The ZenBook lineup is Asus' premium tier of laptops, with the focus generally being on style and portability. Our last outing was with the ZenBook Flip UX360A, which turned out to be a surprisingly affordable 2-in-1 laptop with good performance and features.

Today, we'll be checking out the the smallest and newest member of the ZenBook family, the ZenBook 3 UX390UA, which also happens to be a direct competitor to Apple's 12-inch MacBook. This near-tablet-sized laptop is designed to be extremely portable and yet not compromise on performance.
