The OnePlus Watch 2R is available in single case size and so may end up being a bit too large on smaller wrists. Its vintage-looking design uses aluminium with a brushed metal finish that offers good water and dust resistance against the elements.

The watch is powered by two processors and two operating systems. The companion apps which are preinstalled on Samsung devices are well designed and sync and work well with the smartwatch. Setup is not too difficult on a non-Samsung smartphone, but there is one Samsung exclusive feature which is reserved for Samsung devices.

The Fossil Machine Gen 6 Hybrid is the latest in the company's range of hybrid smartwatches, and has an e-ink display and battery life of two weeks per charge. The smartwatch works well with both iOS and Android through the companion app, which can be used to change the wallpaper and widgets for the e-ink display, among other things.

There is also Alexa support, as well as excellent health and fitness tracking. Although the smartwatch does feel a bit heavy, the good looks and functionality make this an excellent smartwatch for the price.

The OnePlus Watch is claimed to come with a round 46mm dial. It is tipped to feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It  may offer features like automatic workout detection, sleep tracking, stress tracking, and a swimming mode. The smartwatch is also said to have heart rate and SpO2 sensors onboard.  

The OnePlus Watch may launch in Black and Silver colour options. It may also be used as a remote control for the OnePlus TV models, and is tipped to come with the company’s Warp Charge technology that is claimed to provide a week’s charging in 20 minutes.
