  So I came into a lil money, so I decided to get a computer... I dont game all that much but i do like using photoshop & premiere & i do alot of multitasking. So I wanted an above average laptop & from everything I kno & researched a gaming computer was a somewhat safe route to take. Then I got looking & man its exhausting "at least it was 4 me" Had it zeroed down to 3, HP Omen, Lenovo Y20 Legion & the Acer Nitro 5... All the others "as is" came with 8gb RAM & this was the real deal breaker 4 me the Omen came with a HDD no SSD & the Lenovo I believe came with a 128gb & 1tb hdd... so I decided to go with this bad boy & I'm glad I did cause I wasnt disappointed at all!!!! Had a lil hiccup in the beginning in which Cardinal Electronics Pro responded within minutes of me sending him a question, which turned out to be my mistake... I thought the product had been registered already as I went to Acer to register it & it told me it was already registered.? But somehow i had already registered it, lol Def solid laptop, luv the red backlit keyboard & it's just classy, fast, FAST, I MEAN FAST AF!!!!

• Excelente laptop por un buen precio

  Es una excelente equipo, el SSD ayuda mucho en acelerar la apertura de aplicaciones y el tiempo de carga de Windows (aprox. 4.5 seg). Por el momento la he utilizado con aplicaciones como Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Meshmixer y CorelDraw sin notar ning�n problema con el rendimiento del equipo, los 16GB de RAM son suficientes para realizar multiples tareas. Solo he tenido oportunidad de correr el juego F1 2017 en ella pero la tarjeta GeForce GTX 1050Ti permite colocar todos los settings en Ultra High Quality @46fps y High Quality @62fps, la pantalla es IPS 1080p no es la mejor calidad pero su definici�n es mas que aceptable aunque siento que es algo oscura. El �nico inconveniente que le he encontrado hasta el momento es la iluminaci�n del teclado, solo tiene dos valores; encendido o apagado y en ciertas ocasiones es algo inconveniente para identificar las teclas, pero una vez acostumbrado a la distribuci�n el problema desaparece. No he tenido tiempo de verificar bien la duraci�n de la bater�a pero usando aplicaciones ligeras como Office ofrece alrededor de 4 hrs de uso, no tengo intenci�n de usar juegos o suites que requieren mas rendimiento sin tenerla conectada. Pero en general el sistema ofrece una calidad y rendimiento muy bueno por su precio.

  After about 6 months of using this laptop, I can confirm that it deserves the 5/5 rating.Performance is great with pretty much everything I throw at it - starting from heavy matlab simulations, Big Solidworks models and hours of PUBG (around 70FPS with ~medium quality display settings)Almost no issues during this time.The Nitro 5 performs even better then Lenovo's or Dell's higher spec laptops my friends have.Regarding the design - It looks great! It's a little heavy, no biggie though as its a gaming laptop and I wasn't expecting a feather. The Base of the laptop feels good and high quality plastic, except for the plastics around the screen which feel a little flimsy. nothing happened though so I can't really complain.Great viewing angles from the IPS monitor and the keyboard+mousepad are accurate and respond well.The only issues I encountered during this time was some unexpected hibernation's (which I disabled, so not sure I it happens).

• Buena, pero para hacer un sistema dual boot tiene truco

  Viene con windows 10 por defecto, y aunque es facil instalar un sistema adicional, las actualizaciones autom�ticas de windows 10 corrompen el bootloader.La compu tiene 5 estrellas, windows 10 tiene cero
