  • Good
  • Great battery life
  • ZenUI is still fun to use
  • Extremely affordable
  • Bad
  • Terrible camera
  • Below average display
  • Software optimisation issues

In the past two years, Asus has released at least four different versions of the Fonepad 7. We saw a Fonepad 7 (3G) release last year, followed by the Fonepad 7 Dual SIM and the Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) in the first quarter of this year. On top of that, the Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) launched just recently, and we have it with us for review.

Asus Fonepad 7 Summary

The 2014 update to Asus’s 7-inch tablet - Fonepad 7 - is a budget tablet that is a very capable performer save for a few anomalies in the form of the joke of a camera and below average quality screen which is a fingerprint magnet. Additionally, it has decent voice-calling capabilities and a really good battery life.
