  Our experience with LG products has been very good. So this time, i decided to buy an LG washing machine after my Whirlpool washing machine started sounding like a road roller in 4 years time. For ladies who think a 5kg or 6kg capacity washing machine is good enough... think again. My decision to buy a 9kg capacity machine for some extra money was one of the smartest decisions. My earlier machine was 6kg capacity and i had to run it 2-3 times over the weekend to wash all clothes. Most importantly, it ate up my free time to relax and took a lot of time, energy and resources. Imagine ... 3 times quantity of detergent, 3 times quantity of water, 3 times more electricity, 3 times energy to put cloths in and out and 3 times your free time. After i got this machine, i can wash entire weeks clothes in one go, in a single wash. The drum capacity is huge. Compared to the 6kg capacity, now less water is used, less detergent is used and above all i have so much free time. There is no tension about doing a second or third run of the machine again. So girls... go get a bigger capacity washing machine and make your life easy. You will not regret it. What makes this machine so special - it has a whole lot of features which i haven't been able to explore & may be i will not always use all. But really, with this machine you don't need to do much. It's fuzzy mode is intelligent enough. So here you go - Pros - 1) Fuzzy mode automatically detects weight of the clothes and fills water level in the drum automatically. 2) The machine is brilliantly silent & stable irrespective of it being full or with less clothes. 3) Has two water inlets for Hot and Cold water. 4) Has lint filters which work amazingly well. My clothes are coming out cleaner and hardly any lint. 5) The machine has air dry spin mode which really removes the extra moisture and your clothes dry faster on the wire. 6) Does not have a protruding center vertical bar like in Whirlpool machines which spoiled clothes more. 7) You can manually increase decrease washing time and customize other washing features. 8) You can set the water temperature if you have attached the Hot water inlet also. The machine will automatically mix the hot and cold water to achieve the temperature. 9) In case you don't want to use hot water inlet, the machine works absolutely fine with just the cold water inlet. 10) Very nice color, design, touch screen & voice over. 11) Setup is very easy. 12) Electricity consumption is same as any other 5 or 6Kg washing machine. Cons - 1) I thought machine would have inbuilt capability to heat water. But instead it had to be fed with hot water through a separate inlet. 2) No washing machine cover is included. You have to buy it separately. It's easily available online though. 3) The machine does not tell you the quantity of detergent to put depending on the clothes or water level. You have to use your judgement. Although a water level & detergent chart is given in Manual. Where i got it from - I bought it from Flipkart. Was was delivered on time and in good condition. Flipkart checked the washing machine before delivering it and i know it because the machine was wet in some areas. On asking the delivery person said it was tested. On inspecting more, the machine looked brand new so i had no reason to believe it was used & i accepted the delivery. I also got additional Rs.1500 off for exchanging my old machine which the delivery guys took at the same time. Only the installation though flipkart was not ok. The installation person who came was not from LG. He was from Flipkart who had no knowledge about the features of the machine but tried to do hit and try and pretending to know everything. I ultimately had to tell him.... to go away and told him to be honest and say he didn't know anything about the machine or its features, which he later did. At best he helped to fix the inlet pipes. So not a 100% pleasant experience with Flipkart with respect to installation. But otherwise all good & happy with the product quality and delivery. Hope this review helps all the ladies who want to free up their time :) .

  Wonderful product, very efficient handling and installation by Flipkart. The Flipkart delivery people actually delivered the product at our door step on the fourth floor when the elevator was not working due to the rains in our building. The demo and installation group called me up and came at 9pm to our home to set up the machine. They had sweets with us and shared our joy. The machine is working very well. It has a spacious tub and is very user friendly. The colour and the print on the machine shows that LG has an aesthetic sense in addition to utility care. We have just started using the machine and it seems to work well.
