SBI, HDFC, ICICI worst hit as 3.2 million debit cards suffer security breach
3.2 million debit cards in India are feared to be affected by a security breach; 2.6 million of these are on Visa and MasterCard platforms, while the rest are on RuPay. State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and Axis Bank are said to be the worst hit. While SBI has suspended the debit cards of over half a million customers, Axis Bank has said that there has been no loss to customers due to the breach.

Apple announces October 27 event to end Mac update drought
Apple has sent out media invites for an October 27 event, where it is expected to introduce an updated  Mac computer lineup. The Mac upgrades will be the first since 2015, save for the 12-inch MacBook receiving a new rose gold finish and slightly faster processors in April.

WhatsApp for iPhone gets new features
WhatsApp has brought the ability to draw and add text & emojis on top of photos and videos to the iPhone app, shortly after the features were released for Android devices. The update also brings another new feature called 'Group Invite Link' that allows the admin to invite people simply by sharing a unique link with them.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 still being used by over a million people
Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the exploding smartphone that has dampened spirits at the South Korean conglomerate, is still being used by over a million buyers. A large chunk of Galaxy Note 7 users have reportedly decided to not return their device as they either can't find a suitable replacement, like the device's features too much, or simply don't want to go through the replacement process.

Android 7.1 Nougat Developer Preview now available
Google has now delivered on the promise it made earlier this month and made the Android 7.1 Nougat Developer Preview available for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C. In order to get the developer preview, you can sign up for the Android Beta Program, which was announced earlier this year, and receive the update over-the-air. You can also choose to download the factory image for the preview from the Android website and flash it to your compatible device.

LeEco enters US market with Le Pro 3, Le S3 smartphones
LeEco's Le Pro 3 and Le S3 smartphones were front and centre as the company announced its entry into the lucrative US market on Wednesday. It also brought the uMax85 4K television to the market and showcased upcoming products like Super Bike smart bicycle and LeSEE Pro concept self-driving electric car, which is still not functional run.
