A popular Indian electronics manufacturer, Onida has built its reputation as one of India's leading television manufacturers, and is also popular as a home appliance maker. The company has now entered the competitive but growing mobile phone sector with a range of budget products.

Onida's latest mobile launch is the iPhone 17. The mobile was launched in 9th September 2025. The phone comes with a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1206 pixels by 2622 pixels at a PPI of 460 pixels per inch.

The iPhone 17 is powered by hexa-core Apple A19 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB, 512GB of internal storage cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the iPhone 17 packs a 48-megapixel (f/1.6) + 48-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 18-megapixel (f/1.9) front shooter for selfies.

The iPhone 17 runs iOS 26. It measures 149.60 x 71.50 x 7.95 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 177.00 grams.

The iPhone 17 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include 3D face recognition, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
