Founded back in 1969 as Samsung Electric Industries, Suwon, South Korea-headquartered Samsung Electronics today makes everything from televisions to semiconductors. It released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and can be credited with the launch of the first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is among the biggest players in the smartphone market in the world. It has recently developed smartphones running Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung's latest mobile launch is the Galaxy M56 5G. The mobile was launched in 17th April 2025. The phone comes with a 6.73-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is powered by octa-core Samsung Exynos 1480 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M56 5G packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G runs Android 15 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.00 x 77.30 x 7.20 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 180.00 grams. The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
