Motorola Mobility was established in 2011 following the split of Motorola into two companies, with Motorola Solutions catering to the enterprise segment. Acquired soon after by Google, Motorola Mobility was sold to Lenovo in 2014. Motorola made its first Android smartphone in 2009, and its first Android tablet in 2011.
Motorola's latest mobile launch is the Signature. The mobile was launched in 7th January 2026. The phone comes with a 6.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1264 pixels by 2780 pixels at a PPI of 450 pixels per inch. The Motorola Signature is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 512GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Signature packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.6) + 50-megapixel (f/2.0) primary camera on the rear and a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies. The Motorola Signature runs Android 16 and is powered by a 5200mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.10 x 76.40 x 6.99 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 186.00 grams. The Motorola Signature is a dual SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and eSIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
