OPPO Electronics Corp. is an electronics manufacturer based in Guangdong, China. Known for its smartphones, the company also makes MP3 players, portable media players, LCD-TVs, and DVD/Blu-ray players. It was founded in 2004. The company is also a smartphone maker. It has launched a whole range of Android powered smartphones. Oppo's latest mobile launch is the K12 Plus. The mobile was launched in 12th October 2024. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2412 pixels at a PPI of 394 pixels per inch. The Oppo K12 Plus is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1024GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo K12 Plus packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel (f/2.4) front shooter for selfies. The Oppo K12 Plus runs Android 14 and is powered by a 6400mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.50 x 75.30 x 8.37 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 192.00 grams. The Oppo K12 Plus is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
