Autodesk Launches E-Store in India for Its Flagship Software

A 3D design technology firm, Autodesk, on Wednesday announced that its flagship software will now be available for purchase online on a monthly subscription model for Indian customers.

"The new e-store offers another option for our customers to instantly get access to the tools they need to help them make anything," said Pradeep Nair, Managing Director, (India and SAARC), Autodesk.

In the initial phase, Autodesk e-store India will offer AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, 3ds Max and Maya among other products.

This e-store will enable Indian businesses, design and engineering professionals to buy Autodesk software online from Wednesday on monthly subscription on a pay-per-use model.

The company named Digital River as the authorised reseller and merchant of the products and services offered on their e-Store.

Earlier this year, Autodesk moved to a subscription-only model as a part of which all its design software is available on annual and quarterly subscription to its customers.
