Uber, an Internet Age taxi app that allows users to hire luxury cars via its mobile app, is now offering a helicopter ride, called UberChopper, on Father's Day weekend on June 14 and 15 in Bangalore and Mumbai respectively.

On June 14, starting 9am, users can request for a helicopter ride in Bangalore, and from the same time on June 15 in Mumbai. In both cities, the ride costs Rs. 4,999, including a pick and drop in a luxury car. Uber has partnered with Deccan Air for the helicopter ride service.

Each request will only be for two persons, that includes free transport from their home to helipad, and back (door-to-door service). One chopper ride can seat four persons, and so Uber warns that ridesharing maybe in effect in case of heavy demand. Users will be flown around the city's iconic buildings and locations. Not just this, after the ride Bangalore users will be taken for a brunch in the High Ultra Lounge "on the tallest building in the city."
