Chinese browser company, UCWeb, has released UC Browser 9.4 for Android, bringing some key improvements to offer a speedier browsing experience.

UC Browser now offers an Auto Pager feature, an upgraded Speed Mode, and increased download speeds, among other features for faster web browsing.

With the Auto Pager feature, the browser automatically loads the next page in case it's part of a series of pages. For instance the 'lite' versions of Google search listings and Facebook feeds are split into multiple pages. Through the Auto Pager feature, the browser automatically loads the next page when the user comes to the end of a page.

The Speed Mode II feature detects the type of Internet connection the users are on, the device they are using, and the webpage, and fetches the most suitable version of the webpage on the browser. Taking the above factors into consideration, UC Browser 9.4 will load the Desktop, Mobile, or a Lite version of a webpage.

UC Web claims that the new version of the browser downloads webpage content faster with the average download speed under 3G network double than that of the previous iteration of the browser.

In addition to the speed improvements, the version 9.4 of the UC Browser allows users to easily save pictures from Facebook by long pressing on them and storing them via a pop-up menu.

UC Browser 9.4 also offers a Facebook Video Uploader, for recording and uploading videos to Facebook straightaway with one single step. It also comes with Android 4.4 support, typing optimisation, and additional Hindi support.

The updated UC Browser 9.4 can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
