Forza Racing Championship Winner Will Get a Ford Focus RS

How good do you think you are at Forza Motorsport 6? Good enough to beat everyone who plays the game? In that case, you stand a chance to win a real 2017 Ford Focus RS, worth almost $37,000 (approximately Rs. 24 lakhs).

Turn 10 Studios is partnering with ESL Gaming for a new e-sports competition called the Forza Racing Championship, which is supposed to draw on the 3 million Forza players in total and will be the largest in Forza history according to the developer.

You will need to have an Xbox Live Gold account and an ESL Play account to take part in the competition. Registration is open as of Monday, August 8.

The new competition has been designed for players of "all skills levels" and hence will be available in two formats: Elite and Open. "Each series will follow a slightly different path, utilise different modes in the game, and have different prizes available to winners," said Brian Ekberg, community manager at Turn 10 Studios.

You can only win a Ford Focus RS by participating in the Elite Cup. After you register, you will need to sign up for each week's activities by the end of Friday for four consecutive weeks. Further contest details are available here.

Open series is a one-time registration with no weekly sign-ups. You can find the complete list of prizes on the ESL Gaming website, which includes Xbox One S, Forza Elite Controller, and copies of Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition.

While anyone can participate in the Open series, the Elite series is limited to Xbox One owners in the following markets only: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States.

If you do end up winning the Ford Focus RS, transporting the vehicle to your place of living will be up to you so be prepared to pay all the required delivery costs and taxes.
