Mortal Kombat X Announcement Trailer Released Ahead of E3 2014 Reveal

NetherRealm Studios chief, Ed Boon, has confirmed the next instalment of the very popular fighting game franchise, Mortal Kombat X, will arrive in 2015.

The game title is set to arrive in PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One gaming consoles as per Warner Bros. ( via Polygon). Mortal Kombat X will be debuting next week at the E3 2014 event.

The Mortal Kombat X conformation news comes from Ed Boon's tweet that states "The name of the game is "Mortal Kombat X"."

A 2-minute trailer of the game has been also unveiled on YouTube showing the all new game design, and revamped graphics and a cinematic look with more realistic and brutal moves. The trailer shows a fight between two iconic characters of Mortal Kombat X, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. The video also features a new song written for the trailer - Can't Be Stopped by Wiz Khalifa.

The game for the first time is also said to include different variations of characters, giving users control over the character's fighting style and strategy. Mortal Kombat X also gives users a fully connected gameplay with the help of the online multiplayer feature.

"Mortal Kombat has always been about over-the-top, visceral fighting and with Mortal Kombat X we wanted to utilize the power of new-gen consoles to give players our most intense game yet," stated Boon. "The team has worked hard to make sure Mortal Kombat X delivers everything fans expect along with new characters, new game modes and an all-new graphics engine."

The game is available for pre-orders via Amazon, Best Buy, Game Stop, New Egg, Target and Walmart stores in US, France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Russia and Brazil.
