Sony is all set to offer new features in a couple of upcoming system software updates for its latest gaming console, the PlayStation 4. The company says it has listened to PS4 user feedback to add most of these new features that are aimed at improving video editing, sharing and recording options in the first system update (v1.70), and the ability to archive Twitch broadcasts in the second system update.

The first system software update for Sony PlayStation 4 console will be arriving in the 'upcoming weeks', with no word on its exact roll-out dates. The second Twitch broadcast archiving software update would be released sometime in the 'future'. Scott McCarthy, Director, Product Planning & Software Innovation, SCEA, made the announcement on the PlayStation Blog.

As a part of the Sony PlayStation 4 v1.70 system software update, the firm will be offering a 'rich video editing' tool, through which gamers can edit videos and personalize their gameplay videos.
