In line with the Windows 10 Anniversary update that's out in around two weeks Windows 10 apps have been appearing on the Xbox One. The catch is that you'll need to be running the preview update for the console to obtain them. At the moment Netflix and MSN Weather can be installed on the Xbox One. Furthermore, Groove Music will be updated with background music support soon according to Windows Central.
Since these apps are universal they'll work similarly to their Windows 10 PC variants albeit with some added functionality such as controller and perhaps Kinect support as well as scaled for larger screens.
Right now there aren't too many apps outside Microsoft's own. Though this might change with the Anniversary update rolling out by August 2.

Incidentally August 2 is when Microsoft also plans to release the Xbox One S.
The 2TB Xbox One S is priced at $399 (around Rs. 27,000) and will be available from the aforementioned August 2 release date.
Availability of other versions with 1TB and 500GB hard drives will be shared soon, these would cost $349 (approximately Rs. 23,500) and $299 (roughly Rs. 20,000) respectively. While the company hasn't said much in way of a bigger price drop on the existing Xbox One, safe to say it should be available for lower than the current official price of $299.
Don't expect India to get it anytime soon though, Micrsoft India has confirmed there are no plans to bring it just yet.
