Country's leading e-retailer Flipkart Wednesday announced the joining of Eric Lange as Vice President of Product Management for its Customer Experience. Lange joins from Yahoo, where he was Vice President of Product Management in the ads division. He is the latest in a series of senior Silicon Valley technology executives to join Flipkart's rapidly growing enterprise in Bangalore.

"We are very excited to welcome Eric to the Flipkart team. His deep and varied expertise will be tremendously useful Sin helping us connect even more closely with our growing customer base," Flipkart's Chief Product Officer Punit Soni said in a statement.

Lange will begin working at Flipkart's Bengaluru headquarters in August and is the third high-profile Silicon Valley figure to sign on with Flipkart this year, joining Soni and Peeyush Ranjan, the statement said. He will be responsible to ensure and maintain exceptional service to any customer buying products. As a Vice President at Yahoo, Lange managed the analytics and publisher products for the company's USD 2 billion (roughly Rs. 12,697 crores) ad business and spearheaded Yahoo's successful acquisitions of the mobile advertising and analytics company Flurry and the video advertising platform BrightRoll, the statement said.

"I am excited to once again join an industry-leading company that values innovation and consumer experience and am looking forward to redefining what the world expects from customer service. My passion and experience is a perfect match for Flipkart's customer-centric approach." Lange said.
