GSF Accelerator has announced names of the 15 startups it has agreed to induct and fund as part of the inaugural batch of its multi-city tech accelerator program. As per a release sent out by the accelerator, the group commenced on October 15.
The startups have already gone through 10 workshops with over 25 mentors in the two weeks since the program commenced. The startups are expected to go through 25 workshops focusing on different aspects of building business and products, raising finances, technology, and marketing and meeting over 100 mentors. As reported earlier, GSF Accelerator had
inducted 12 Entrepreneurs-in-Residence as mentors, which has later upped to 15 EIRs, one for each startup inducted.
GSF Accelerator also shared details of the 15 startups inducted. Delhi/ NCR has the largest number of startups (6), followed by Bangalore (5) and Mumbai (4). A brief profile of all 15 startups inducted is included below.
Rajesh Sawhney, founder and curator of GSF Accelerator explained, "We saw immense interest from start-ups across the country. We reviewed more than 400 start-ups. Although the initial plan was to accept 12 start-ups into the program, the final list includes 15 start-ups. The diversity of startups at GSF is unique. We have young teams with founders who are currently students in IITs to a few serial entrepreneurs. These startups are building innovative solutions in domains as diverse as Mobile, Cloud, Enterprise solutions, Developer tools, Imaging applications, Cab share, Hyper Local services, Payment solutions, and innovative Reverse Logistic platforms. Each of these start-ups brings a combination of high market potential, strong founding team and innovative product."
