Apple has quietly updated it's range of MacBook Pro laptops without any price changes. The newer MacBook Pros feature updated Intel Sandy Bridge processors with higher clock speeds and more powerful AMD GPU units.

Now the base version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro features a dual-core i5 processor clocked at 2.4Ghz and 500 GB of storage, while the 15 and 17-inch versions of the MacBook Pro top out with Intel i7 processors clocked at 2.4Ghz and the AMD Radeon 6770M GPUs.

On the whole this is a minor update considering the MacBook Pro have not received a newer generation processor or a redesign.
