HP launches 'world's fastest' Officejet Pro X500 series of printers

HP India has announced the launch of Officejet Pro X500 series of printers, that are recognised in the Guinness Book of Records for the 'fastest time to print 500 sheets by an office colour desktop printer'.

Powered by HP PageWide Technology, company's next-generation inkjet platform, the HP Officejet Pro X Series of devices can deliver documents at up to 70 pages per minute in General Office mode. The series includes four devices - two printers and two multi-function devices. The HP Officejet Pro X451dw and HP Officejet Pro X551dw printers are priced at Rs. 31,499 and Rs. 37,999 respectively, while the HP Officejet Pro X476dw MFP and HP Officejet Pro X576dw MFP are priced at Rs. 43,999 and Rs. 50,499 respectively. HP claims that all four devices deliver documents at up to twice the speed and half the cost of colour lasers.

These devices are targeted at work-teams with up to 15 users printing up to approximately 4200 pages a month. Users can also print from virtually anywhere with the latest mobile printing technologies such as HP ePrint and AirPrint.

Commenting on the launch of the new series of printers, Nitin Hiranandani, Director, Printing Systems, PPS, HP said, "The HP Officejet Pro X Series leads HP's inkjet innovation for businesses by offering manageability, professional colour printing at breakthrough speed at up to half the cost of laser printers. We at HP continue to advance inkjet innovation to help businesses succeed."

HP also unveiled Officejet Pro Black & White all-in-one inkjet printers at the same event.
