Logitech seems to have turned back the clock as the company on Wednesday introduced the MX Ergo mouse, which is its first new trackball mouse in nearly a decade. The new wireless mouse from the company comes with a unique adjustable hinge, precision tracking with multi-device connectivity for trackball enthusiasts, the company said in its release.

The company says that the adjustable hinge on the new MX Ergo mouse allows users to increase the angle from 0 to 20-degrees, which effectively improves wrist posture and pronation. "The carefully sculpted shape gives your hand full palm and finger support, while the soft rubber on the top ensures a good, comfortable grip for long hours of work," Logitech said in its release.

Logitech claims that the MX Ergo offers the latest tracking technology and provides users with faster and more precise navigation. Notably, users can change the cursor speed and accuracy for optimal control with just a press of a button. An LED light illuminates whenever the precision mode is activated. Like other devices in the MX series, the MX Ergo offers Logitech's Easy-Switch and Flow technologies, allowing users to pair the mouse with more than one computer, easily switch between them, and even copy data between them.

Anatoliy Polyanker, global portfolio and brand director at Logitech, commented on the launch by saying, "We are so excited by this new trackball. It is back, better than ever and the idea for this trackball innovation was inspired by our users, who invented creative ways to achieve their desired level of comfort, sometimes adding additional wedges under their trackball for elevated angles,"

The MX Ergo has been priced by the company at $99.99 (roughly Rs. 6,400) and will be made available by the company at Logitech.com and select retail stores throughout North America in September. There is also a special edition of the mouse that will be made available by the company at the same price as regular variant but through Best Buy.
