Apple launched the new MacBook Pro 2016 in October, however, it refrained from announcing any availability details for the Indian market. In mid-November, the company quietly started rolling out stock of the MacBook Pro 2016 without Touch Bar into the Indian market, and now the Touch Bar variant has started to trickle in.
The new MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar variant is now in stock with selected dealers. An Apple Reseller in Kerala, IT Net Infocomm, has announced on Twitter that it has the new Touch Bar variant in stock. The 13-inch Touch Bar variant is priced starting at Rs. 1,55,900, and the 15-inch variant is priced starting at Rs. 2,05,900.

We checked with a Mumbai-based retailer who said it had not received any units yet. The 2016 MacBook Pro is not listed on any of the e-commerce websites either, so it's likely that the stock has only just started trickling in, and will become more widely available soon.
The 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 with Touch Bar have an OLED panel and a Touch ID sensor replacing the function keys on the keyboard. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar's base model is powered by a 2.9GHz Intel 'Skylake' Core i5 dual-core processor with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. The 13-inch model comes with integrated Intel Iris Graphics 550. There's Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 support. It has a Retina (2560x1600 pixels) LED-backlit display with IPS technology and 227ppi pixel density. For connectivity, there is a 3.5mm audio jack and four Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) ports.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro laptop with Touch Bar's base model is powered by an Intel Skylake Core i7 quad-core SoC, running at 2.6GHz. The configuration gets you 256GB SSD storage. It packs 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon Pro 450 series graphics chip with dedicated 2GB of graphics memory. There's also a low-power Intel HD 530 Graphics chip built-in, and the computer switches between the two depending upon requirement. This model too boasts of 10 hours of battery life despite a smaller 76 watt-hour battery (the last generation had a 99.5 watt-hour battery).
