While LG is busy announcing Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its old smartphones, reports have emerged over the Web suggesting that the company is preparing a new 'H' series, LG G Chocolate, LG G Black, LG G Black Slim, LG G Black Sound, and LG G Plus smartphones.

First up is the report by LGMyphones, which spotted a listing on HTML5Test website an LG device with model number LG-H440n running Android 5.0 Lollipop. The report claims that LG-H440n is the European version of the alleged new 'H' series smartphones, and it will also debut with LG-H441 on T-Mobile, and LG-H443 on AT&T wireless carriers in the US.

The report further suggested that the device will sport an HD (720x1280 pixels) display of unknown size - tipping a budget or mid-range offering.

Notably, the alleged LG-H440n on latest Chrome 34 browser scored 512 out of 555 and it was running an early build of Android 5.0 Lollipop, LRX02E.

On the other hand, several of LG's recently filed patent applications (first discovered by PhoneArena) include new names that the company could use for its future devices, such as LG G Chocolate, LG G Black, LG G Black Slim, LG G Black Sound, and LG G Plus. However, the report didn't include any other information regarding the possible devices that may use these names.

Meanwhile, LG on Sunday announced that it will start rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop to its flagship G3 smartphone in Poland this week, with other regions set to follow in the near future. The company also noted that it will soon announce an upgrade schedule for other LG mobile devices.
