Asus has already released invitations for its official event at MWC 2018 in Barcelona, where we can expect announcements for products in the ZenFone 5 series. A fresh set of leaks suggest that the ZenFone 5 Lite will also be unveiled at the event. This phone is expected to sport four camera sensors, two on the front and two at the back. Renders suggest a vertical dual camera setup on the rear.

Reputed tipster Evan Blass took to Twitter on Friday to reveal photos of the rumoured ZenFone 5 Lite. The photos clearly show a vertical dual camera module on the back of the phone as well as two selfie cameras on the front. The phone also appears to have a front-facing flash, alongside a dual-LED flash module on the back. And, lastly, the rear camera setup is expected to have a 120-degree wide-angle lens. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the renders.

Separately, Evan Blass also posted that the phone would be made available in three colour variants - Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Rouge Red. The ZenFone 5 Lite is tipped to sport a full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Interestingly enough, Asus Marketing Executive Marcel Campos posted a photo of an unannounced phone on his personal Instagram account. The phone does not look like any other handset in the ZenFone series, leading us to believe that this could be the upcoming ZenFone 5 Lite considering it appears to have a vertical dual camera setup on the back and the same fingerprint sensor placement. The phone also has a glossy glass back panel with no sight of a 3.5mm headphone jack at least on the bottom. However, this is just speculation, and we will get a clearer picture closer to the launch.

Asus recently sent out invites for its MWC 2018 keynote that will be held at 7:30pm CET on February 27 (12am IST, February 28). We can expect the ZenFone 5 Lite and ZenFone 5 Max to make an appearance, apart from other products by Asus.
