Creative Sound Blaster E Series Audio Solution Launched, Starts Rs. 4,999

Creative on Monday launched the Sound Blaster E Series audio solution in India, meant for a variety of platforms including PC, Mac, smartphones and tablets. The devices function both ad external sound cards and headphone amplifiers.

The Sound Blaster E Series by Creative include two devices, the Creative Sound Blaster E3 (Seen Above) and the Sound Blaster E1 (Seen Below). While the Sound Blaster E3 will be available starting November this year for Rs. 12,999, the Sound Blaster E1 will be available in October for Rs. 4,999, both via Flipkart.

Creative's Sound Blaster E Series devices feature high 110dB SNR levels, 600 Ohm headphone amplification (built-in battery supports portable use), and Bluetooth connectivity. Dual headphone ports have been also included for sharing music.

Both the Sound Blaster E series devices also include embedded microphones for voice recording and supplement headphones for voice calls. The company's Crystal Voice Technology can be also used for real-time voice enhancements.

In addition, the Creative Sound Blaster E3 users can pair the device with their PC and Mac systems, and can customise music, audio for movies or games by downloading and using the full suite of SBX Pro Studio software.

The Sound Blaster E3 and Sound Blaster E1 device can also act as a portable USB DAC device for smartphones and tablets. While the Sound Blaster E1 delivers a battery life of about 25 hours, which may vary based on the device's usage, the Sound Blaster E3 gives 8 hours of wireless music streaming and 17 hours of music when in analogue mode.

Both comes with a support for Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) "for low latency and high fidelity playback."

In July, Creative launched three new speakers, the Creative Muvo 10, Muvo 20 and Woof in India. The Creative Muvo 10 and Muvo 20 portable wireless speakers are priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively, the Creative Woof ultra-portable wireless speaker comes at Rs. 3,999.
