  • Both smartphones sport premium designs and BoomSound speakers
  • The HTC Desire 10 Pro is being launched in a dual-SIM version in India

HTC is all set to launch the Desire 10 Pro smartphone in India on Thursday at an event in New Delhi. To recall, the Desire 10 Pro was launched alongside the Desire 10 Lifestyle in September. The latter phone made it to India later that month itself, and now, the Desire 10 Pro is expected to be launched in the country.

Both the HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle have several things in common - with the biggest being the design. Both smartphones sport matte finish bodies and metallic gold contours, while also featuring BoomSound stereo speakers.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro bears a fingerprint sensor - something its cheaper Desire 10 Lifestyle sibling doesn't. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's Sense UI on top.

While the smartphone was launched in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, and another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, only the latter model is being launched in India - the company site reveals. The storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).
