HTC One (E8 Eye) Spotted Arriving in India Alongside One (M8 Eye)

HTC appears to preparing to launch a new smartphone, the One (Eye E8), as the unannounced device has been spotted listed on an Indian import/ export website. The HTC One (M8 Eye) was also listed, indicating an imminent launch in India of the recently unveiled smartphone.

The HTC One (E8 Eye) is seen listed on Zauba in Grey and Silver colours. Other details of the alleged One (Eye E8) listing on the Zauba include per unit price at Rs. 27,275. Notably, the import/ export prices are only indicative and usually do not include duties or taxes. However, we are still expecting a sub-Rs. 30,000 price for the device.

As of now, there is no word on innards of the unannounced HTC One (E8 Eye); although it is likely that smartphone will come with same innards as the HTC One (E8) with new HTC Eye Experience camera goodies.

Apart from the HTC One (Eye E8), the One (M8 Eye) has also been spotted listed on Zauba. Some of the details listed about the One (M8 Eye) include 5-inch screen and Grey and Silver colour variants. Interestingly, the listing also tips that these smartphones will be announced in both single and dual-SIM variants. Both the unannounced HTC smartphones were first spotted by Gadgetz Arena.

Last week, HTC listed the long-rumoured One (M8 Eye) smartphone on the company's eShop shopping portal for China. The HTC One (M8 Eye) was up for pre-order at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,000) and is expected to go on sale starting October 15. No specifications of the smartphone were listed, though it is expected to feature identical innards as the original HTC One (M8).

The Taiwanese giant had a busy last week, as the company at its 'Double Exposure' event launched the selfie-focused Desire Eye smartphone alongside a new GoPro-like camera dubbed RE. The company also revealed a flurry of new features such as the HTC Eye Experience, which the company claims is an "enhanced imaging software" for HTC devices, and an all new Zoe, which is a collaborative video editing community.
