HTC has put up a teaser countdown clock on its official site for the unveiling of the successor to the popular HTC One, scheduled on 25 March 2014.

Notably, the official site with countdown shows a tagline that says, "The best is about to get better." HTC said on Twitter, "Join us for the countdown to next Tuesday's BIG announcement live streaming here," accompanied by the #HTCOneUp hashtag that suggests HTC wants more people to talk about its upcoming smartphone. The countdown indicates the event will begin at 8:30PM (IST) on 25 March 2014.

HTC has already been making headlines this week with the leaks related to the All New HTC One, or the HTC One 2014 smartphone, in a way confirming the innards of the yet-to-be announced handset.

On Thursday, the All New HTC One or the HTC One 2014 smartphone, continued to stay in the spotlight ahead of its official launch. The HTC One successor was leaked in some new images, and also on a certification website that detailed key specifications.

The HTC One 2014's most appealing rumoured feature is said to be its dual rear cameras. The Tenaa listing of the HTC M8t showed a 16-megapixel rear camera. Earlier reports indicated that HTC would stick with its 'UltraPixel' technology and use it in the handset's front-facing shooter.
