Huawei launching Ascend Y200 and G300 in India

Chinese telecommunication equipment manufacturer Huawei is planning to launch two new Android smartphones in India this month. Part of company's Ascend series, these smartphones are entry-level Y200 and mid-range G300.

There is no word on the pricing right now, which will be revealed at the time of the launch.

Coming to the smartphones, Huawei Ascend Y200 features Android 2.3, 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor and 256 MB RAM. It also comes with 3.15 megapixel primary camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port, 1250 mAh battery and 3.5 inch touchscreen.

On the other hand, Huawei Ascend G300 comes with Android 2.3, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 inch display and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera.

The smartphone also features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB port for connectivity.
