iBall Andi 4.5D Royale with 3G support available online at Rs. 8,499

iBall is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India, the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale, as it has been listed as available on an online retailer at Rs. 8,499. The phone has not yet been listed on the company's official site.

A dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual standby functionality, the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. As the name suggests, the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale sports a 4.5-inch IPS qHD (540x960 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor that's coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Bearing an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale also features a front-facing of unspecified resolution. The smartphone comes with 4GB of built-in storage (2GB user-available) that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Connectivity options on the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and GPS/ A-GPS. Notably, according to the online retailer's listing (Flipkart) no FM radio connectivity is included - a deal-breaker for some users.

Other listed specifications of the iBall Andi 4.5D Royale include the presence of a G-sensor, light sensor, and a proximity sensor, apart from a 1700mAh battery (talk time and standby time figures have not been listed). Earlier this month, iBall had launched the Andi 4.5P Glitter at Rs. 7,399. Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone supports 3G connectivity. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution display, and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor (unspecified chipset) coupled with 512MB of RAM.

Other specifications of the recently launched iBall Andi 4.5P Glitter include an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, unspecified front-facing camera, 4GB of inbuilt storage (2GB user-available) that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), a 1450mAh battery, and connectivity options such as GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, Bluetooth tethering, USB tethering, Wi-Fi (with Direct and hotspot functionality), as well as FM radio with recording.
