Intex Aqua Trend Lite With 4G VoLTE, Front Flash Launched at Rs. 5,690

After the Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+, the smartphone company has decided to launch the Intex Aqua Trend Lite smartphone in India. It is essentially a cheaper variant of the Intex Aqua Trend smartphone launched in August 2015. The Intex Aqua Trend Lite is priced at Rs. 5,690, comes with 4G VoLTE support, and has been launched in a Champagne colour.

The company touts the in-built 1.5W speaker as the big highlight as it promises good audio quality and volume. As for specifications, the Intex Aqua Trend Lite runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and support dual-SIM functionality. It has a 5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA TN display, and the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core chip with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. There's 8GB of internal storage with the option to expand further via a microSD card slot (up to 128GB).

As for optics, the Intex Aqua Trend Lite sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and a 2-megapixel selfie camera with an LED flash as well. The smartphone packs a 2600mAh battery that claims to last up to 200 hours of standby time and 8 hours of talk time. Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Commenting on the new launch of smartphone, Nidhi Markanday, Director & Business Head, Intex Technologies said in a statement, "At Intex, we are constantly innovating our products and are rapidly increasing the number of smartphones with unique and special features. In this smartphone, the Mega Sound Speaker feature has been introduced for those users' who enjoy music and want to experience complete clarity and performance. Now-a-days, consumers are fond of music and love to play music on their smartphone, with this launch, we are confident that users' will enjoy best sound experience."

The Intex Aqua Trend Lite's dimensions measure at 146.6x73x11.5mm, and the smartphone weighs 160 grams. The device also comes equipped with Intex's in-house Value Added Services (VAS) like MiFon Security, LFTY, Vistoso, and Tap & Buy.
