Intex seems to be on a launching spree as the company has introduced another budget Aqua series smartphone, the Aqua X, which is now listed on the company's site at a price of Rs. 2,699.

The Indian domestic handset maker last week launched the Intex Aqua Power HD for the Indian market, apart from listing the Intex Aqua 5X and Aqua 3G Star on its website.

The Intex Aqua X is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It comes with a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) HVGA display.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. Unfortunately, there is no word on inbuilt storage capacity and expandable storage support on the Intex Aqua X.

On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua X offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, AGPS, and Bluetooth options. Notably, the Aqua X does not support 3G connectivity. The smartphone packs a 1200mAh battery and is listed in Black colour.
