Intex launches new touchscreen feature phone for Rs. 2,190

Intex has launched a new dual-SIM touchscreen phone Intex Cola for Rs. 2,190. The handset features a 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen and a 1.3 MP camera with flash and digital zoom. To meet the entertainment needs of the customers, Intex Cola also comes with a wireless FM.

The handset also allows consumers to convert it into a webcam and use with the PC or laptop.  Intex Cola supports memory expansion up to 8GB through a microSD. It comes with a 1000 mAh battery, which according to the company, offers talk time of up to 3.5 hours and standby time of up to 11 days.

Other key features include Bluetooth, GPRS, USB-PC connectivity, mobile tracker, torch light and auto call record.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar, General Manager - Mobile Business, Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. said, "Market trends in mobile technology indicate the growing significance and popularity of touchscreen phones as a category in India. We are consistently making efforts to introduce affordable superior quality handsets in this category and are looking at launching eight models this year, he added."

Intex Cola will be available in two colour options- black and white.
