Karbonn Mobiles on Friday announced the launch of the new Titanium Jumbo 2 in the Indian market. The USP of this smartphone is its 4000mAh battery that comes with a claimed standby time of up to 400 hours and talk time of up to 16 hours. Apart from that, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone offers accessibility options including image scrolling, notification bar access, and privacy features. The Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 is available in Black, Champagne, and Coffee colour variants.
Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 price in India is Rs. 5,999 on Amazon.in. An Airtel cashback offer of Rs. 2,000 is also valid on the phone, giving it an effective price of Rs. 3,999. Rs. 500 will be credited to the user after 18 months, and the rest Rs. 1,500 will be credited after a total of 36 months. A cumulative recharge of Rs. 3,500 is required to be eligible for the cashback offer, in the first 18 months as well as the subsequent 19-36 months. Karbonn recommends the Airtel Rs. 169 prepaid pack that offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 1GB data per day with a validity of 28 days.
The dual SIM Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 sports a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass. The phone is powered by an unnamed 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
In the camera department, this phone bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. The Titanium Jumbo 2 has 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). There is a 4000mAh battery under the hood.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and 4G VoLTE. The phone features a fingerprint sensor on the back. Dimensions are 154x77.2x8.4mm and weight is 170 grams (with battery).
