LG G4 and G4 Stylus Prices Slashed in India

LG has slashed the price of both the LG G4 and LG G4 Stylus smartphones in India, ahead of the festive season. The flagship G4, which was launched in India in June with a price tag of Rs. 51,000, would now be available at Rs. 45,000 for Leather Back variant and Rs. 40,000 for Ceramic White variant. The G4 Stylus, which arrived at Rs. 24,990 last month, will now cost Rs. 21,000.

"This festive season we wanted to give consumers something to cheer about. The G4 and G4 Stylus are our best offerings in India this year and we have received a phenomenal response to these smartphones till now. With a further revision in prices, we are extending the availability to more and more people to enjoy the superior immersive & innovative experience these phones offer," said Amit Gujral, Marketing Head, LG Mobiles, India.

The LG G4 variant launched in India features dual-SIM and dual LTE support. The specifications of the LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) are identical to the original LG G4, except for the inclusion of an extra SIM card slot. Notably, both the SIMs support 4G connectivity. To recall, the LG G4 features a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (1440x2560) IPS Quantum display with a pixel density of 538ppi; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz; 3GB of RAM; 32GB inbuilt storage; expandable storage support up to 2TB via microSD card; a 3000mAh removable battery; a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 lens, and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 lens. The LG G4 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with LG's new UX 4.0 on top.

The LG G4 Stylus houses a 5.7-inch display and sports a rubberdium stylus for note-taking. It features a 5.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 258ppi; 1GB of RAM; 16GB of built-in storage; expandable storage support via microSD card; 3000mAh battery (removable); Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n; Bluetooth 4.1; NFC; A-GPS; Glonass; Micro-USB; 5-megapixel front camera; 154.3x79.2x9.6mm, and 163 grams. The G4 Stylus supports 4G LTE, and features the 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The LTE model sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and packs a 5-megapixel front camera as well.
