LG has announced two new affordable smartphones - the L Fino and L Bello, targeted at the emerging 3G markets.

The South Korean giant also announced that the new L series smartphones, the L Fino and L Bello, will be showcased at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin in early September.

The LG L Fino and LG L Bello will begin rolling-out this month starting with Latin America, and countries in Europe, Asia, and CIS will follow. The company said that the prices of the handsets and additional availability details will be announced locally at the time of launch.

The company announced the Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based LG L Fino and L Bello come with a UX derived from the LG G3. Earlier this week, LG had announced that it will be bringing the UX features from the G3 flagship to most of its entry and mid-level smartphones and tablets launched in the second half of this year.

Some of the highlights of the G3-derived UX skin include Touch and Shoot feature that clicks images by tapping anywhere on the display to focus and shoot in one single step; Gesture Shot in the camera allows users to open and close a hand in front of the lens to start a three-second countdown for the shutter, and Front Camera Light, which helps clicking images in self-portrait mode.

Other features include Knock Code, which was first introduced on the LG G2, that allows users to unlock the phone by tapping a personalised 'knock' pattern on the display. The new LG L Fino and LG L Bello also support the new QuickCircle cases that were launched alongside the flagship G3 (Review | Pictures).

Another major UX feature from the G3 is the Smart Keyboard, which the company has claimed can reduce input error by up to 75 percent by analysing and adapting to typing habits.
