LG seems to be gearing up to launch a new L-series smartphone in India, the L60i Dual, if information from an established retailer from Mumbai is to be believed. So far, no announcement has been made by LG.

Announcing a price of Rs. 6,399, retailer Mahesh Telecom on Saturday also tweeted some specifications of the yet-to-be-announced L60i Dual, with another link to a Facebook page with almost complete specifications. The smartphone seems to be a variant of the LG L60 Dual  launched earlier this year at Rs. 9,000.

According to the retailer's Facebook post, the yet-to-be-announced L60i Dual (with X137 model name) runs Android KitKat (unspecified version) out-of-the-box, and offers dual-SIM support. It is said to feature a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display, and be powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core (unknown chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The retailer also suggested the L60i Dual will come with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an unknown resolution front facing camera. The 4GB of built-in storage is said to be expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The LG L60i Dual is said to pack a 1700mAh battery and support 2G network. Considering the listed specifications, it appears that the smartphone does not come with 3G connectivity support and that is probably the biggest difference between it and the L60 Dual, apart from the larger battery.

Some other features that reportedly included on the LG LG60i Dual are KnockON and Guest Mode. It is probable that the retailer has wrongly mentioned KnockON, as the company now calls it Knock Code - a feature that allows users to unlock the phone by tapping a personalised 'knock' pattern on the display.

The LG L60 Dual, on the other hand, comes with X147 model name and features with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and is powered by a dual-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It features a 4.3-inch TFT display and sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB), and a 1540mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity options, the LG L60 came with GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB connectivity options.
