Micromax - following the lead of Samsung, HTC and Sony - could be the next to join the mini-variant segment, with the expected launch of the rumoured Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini.

The alleged Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini has been purportedly revealed in a leaked image. The image has been posted by MMXNewscaster, which is a source of leaks related to Micromax mobiles, and shows the rumoured Canvas Turbo Mini in White colour variant.

We've already seen the alleged Canvas Turbo Mini in Black colour variant in a previous leaked image. The tweet by MMXNewscaster reads, "Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini in White." Unfortunately, the tipster does not shed much light on the alleged Micromax A200 Canvas Turbo Mini's price and availability.

It's worth pointing out that the Micromax Canvas Turbo comes with model name A250, while the alleged Canvas Turbo Mini is said to come with A200 model number.

The rumoured Micromax A200 is also said to sport an 8-megapixel rear camera, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Other specifications leaked include an 1800mAh battery, while the device is said to boast a 7.9mm sleek profile. An earlier report suggested that Micromax has been working on rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for its yet-to-be-revealed Canvas Turbo Mini.

In addition, MMXNewscaster has also posted an image that appears to be a teaser for an upcoming device. The tweet said, "#DecodeTheHero on January 24" suggesting that the domestic handset maker might schedule an event for later this week. Further, if the tweet by MMXNewscaster comes out to be true, we might see the alleged Canvas Turbo Mini (A200) launched at the same event.
