With less than a few of hours to go before Motorola's Moto G event kicks-off, specifications of the smartphone have been leaked thanks to a retail listing.

German retailer, the Phone House, posted the specifications of the yet-to-be-announced Moto G ahead of its official launch, however the retailer has now taken down the page. The specifications were first reported by The Unwired.

As per the Phone House, Motorola's much-talked about smartphone, the Moto G would run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. The Moto G is said to support quad-band frequency and would come with connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and 3G.

It is likely to feature a 4.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The Moto G is expected to be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, though no word on the chipset. Earlier leaks have pointed out a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8226 processor on the Moto G.

More expected specifications of the Moto G based on leaks include a 5-megapixel rear camera with HD video recording support, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto G is said to include 1GB of RAM and come with 8GB inbuilt storage, with no word on expandable storage by the German retailer. The Moto G will weigh about 143 grams and would pack a 2070mAh battery.

On Tuesday, Motorola's new teaser pointed to a probable release of the Moto G smartphone in India. The teaser specifically said, "Namaste, India!", and the salutation left us positive of an India launch. The new teaser image posted on Facebook shows the Motorola logo in the centre with the Taj Mahal in the background.

Earlier this week, Motorola Moto G's price was revealed to be 159.99 British Pounds, which translated to roughly Rs. 16,100, thanks to an Amazon UK listing that was pulled down immediately.
